Today’s Zaman reported on 12 April that Imams will join the fight against domestic violence after the signing of a protocol envisaging cooperation between two state ministries. Ecodiario reported 12 April that Secretary of State for Cooperation, Soraya Rodriguez, said that emergency funds committed by Spain after the earthquake which hit Haiti three months ago, have "almost all" been spent and she thanked the "example of solidarity " shown by Spanish society.
