LEBANON: Youth and Urbanization
Al Liwaa and Arab Thought Foundation Research Center reported on 29 August on the issue of youth and urbanization. Entitled “Arabic Villages with No Youth,” the article tackles issues of youth and urbanization from several socio-economic approaches, including youth employment, rural ageing and youth migration. It also compares trends of rural youth exodus in various Arabic countries, including Lebanon.
