PARAGUAY: Academics from around the world discuss population issues
Multiple media outlets reported on 6 November that on 16, 17 and November 18 the 4th Population Paraguayan Congress, organized by ADEPO and supported by UNFPA, will be held. This scientific meeting, which will bring together national and international scholars, will address issues related to the dynamics and changes in population and territory, and its relationship to development in Paraguay’s 200 years of independence. It will include the participation of exhibitors from Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and is open to partners of the ADEPO, researchers, government officials, students and everyone interested in the debate, population issues, historical exchange factors and the territorial issues of Paraguay's as well as their perspectives and future trends.
