CONGO (BRAZZAVILLE): UNFPA generates debate on forests future 



Les Depeches de Brazzaville reported on 11 November on debates generated in the economic capital of Pointe-Noire after the announcement by UNFPA Representative David Lawson during a press conference on the 2011 State of the World Population Report, on the impact of  demographic growth on forests. The debate deepened recently with multiple conferences on the topic, following the National Day of Tree Planting led by President Denis Sassou Nguesso, on 6 November, with international development partners.
