PARAGUAY: 8 of 10 women had sex before age 20 years


La Nación reported on 3 December that almost 2 in 3 women between 15 and 24 years said that they had sex, according to the Sexual and Reproductive Health Study in Adolescents and Young development of CEPEP and supported by UNFPA. In the presentation, Manuelita Escobar, Assistant Representative of UNFPA, noted that this study breaks down the perspective of the adults about adolescent sexuality, while the Vice Minister of Health, Dr. Raquel Escobar Argaña, advocated the approval and implementation of the Framework Rector Integrated Teaching of Sexuality.
