COSTA RICA: At-Risk Youth Find Opportunities
Multiple media outlets reported on 28 June on the presentation of a Comprehensive Care Model for Youth as an activity during the Joint Programme “Youth, Employment and Migration” (JEM). The programme supports young people who, for different reasons, were unable to complete their studies or who have had difficulty finding work. Patricia Salgado, UNFPA Assistant Representative, said that "the purpose of this initiative has been to create what is now disclosed as a model of employment where young people can come and get all the services they require for their personal development, economic, labour, etc." Watch and listen in Spanish: Channel 9, Radio Nacional, and Channel 13.
