JORDAN: Preparations Begin for Family Health Survey

Multiple media outlets reported on 28 June that the Department of Statistics (DOS) in Jordan has signed an agreement with UNFPA, UNICEF and USAID to conduct a population and family health survey of the Kingdom. Survey activities will start immediately, with data collection taking place between September and December 2012. The study is funded by the government, USAID, UNFPA and UNICEF.
