JORDAN: Workshop on Managing Cases of Gender-Based Violence

Al Ghad reported on 7 October on the beginning of training for female trainers on the management of cases of gender-based violence by the Family Protection Department in cooperation with UNFPA, the United Nations Population in Jordan. This workshop, which will take place for ten days, aims to train female staff from the Family Protection Department to enable them to provide quality protection services for all women residing in Jordan. This training is a result of the recommendations that came out from previous workshops, stressing the need for increasing the number of female trainers working in managing cases of gender-based violence.
