JORDAN: UNFPA Serving Syrian Refugees in Zatari
Al Rai reported on 24 October that many national and international organizations are putting great efforts in serving Syrian refugees in Jordan, one of these organizations is the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), which has been providing different services since Syrians started fleeing to Jordan. The latest achievement for UNFPA was to distribute hygiene kits to Syrians in Zatari Camp. UNFPA has also jointly established a women's health clinic in Zatari to provide different health services for women, such as pre and post-natal, reproductive health and family planning services. UNFPA is also providing safe spaces for women and young girls, in partnership with IFH, to raise their awareness on health care and prevention, ante and post-natal care, family planning, psychological, social and legal counselling services.
