ARMENIA: Number of Armenians in Russia Has Doubled

Armtoday.info on 30 November reported that in 1989, the number of Armenians in Russia was 532,000. Today, this number has passed 1,180,000 according to Demoskop, the most prestigious Moscow publication dedicated demographic challenges. This scientific journal, funded by UNESCO, the Soros Foundation and the UN Population Fund, noted that in Russia, the number of members of any other nation did not grow as rapidly as the Armenians.
