MYANMAR: Safe Migrant Movement Promoted

The New Light of Myanmar on 19 December reported on the ceremony to mark International Migrants Day. At the event, it was stressed that the government strives to promote safe migration movement and uplift the socio-economic life of Myanmar migrant workers in collaboration with local and regional organizations. UNFPA Representative Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Ahad was an attendee at the ceremony and featured in the article's photograph.
