KAZAKHSTAN: Price of Contraceptives Prohibitive

Tengrinews.kz on 4 February  and Gaseteadiyaman.com on 3 February reported that Bakhyt Tumenova, president of the Public Fund "Amansaulyk," believes that price is to blame for a decrease in contraception use. “The hormonal contraceptive drug 'Rigevidon number 60' costs 1,500 tenge at the pharmacy.
