RUSSIAN FEDERATION: Law Guaranteeing Equal Rights Drafted

Communitarian.ru on 3 February reported on a draft law guaranteeing, “equal rights and freedoms for men and women." In UNFPA’s report “Culture, Gender and Human Rights: A Common Understanding,” it was found that cultural differences must be taken into account when determining the most effective way to combat harmful cultural practices.
