JORDAN: Joint Agreement Secures More Services for GBV Survivors

The Jordan Times, Al-Rai and Juhaina News Agency reported on 21 June that the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Espen Barth Eide, attended the signing ceremony of a joint agreement between the government of Norway and three United Nations agencies in Jordan.

This joint agreement provides 1.3 million dollars to ensure that gender-based violence survivors, both Syrians and Jordanians, have increased access to comprehensive lifesaving protection services including reproductive health, psychosocial and legal services in three areas in Jordan (Mafraq, Irbid and Zarqa).
