BURKINA FASO: First Lady Learns About Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention

TV RTB on 26 June reported that the First Lady of Burkina Faso, Chantal Compaore, flew to Jamaica for a working visit. This event was supported by the UNFPA Country Office of Burkina Faso. She had a working session with the staff of the Women’s Centre of the Jamaica Foundation. The purpose of this visit was  to learn about Jamaica’s experience in preventing adolescent pregnancies and supporting adolescent mothers in order to adopt and replicate it in Burkina Faso.
