UGANDA: Spending for Family Planning

The Observer on 7 July reported that $6.8 million has been allocated for reproductive health. MPs have vowed that every single penny will be well spent on procuring family planning contraceptives. "Since 1999, MPs in conjunction with development partners such as Partners in Population and Development – Africa Regional Office (PPD ARO), UNFPA, Unicef and WHO, have worked to push government to improve reproductive health in Uganda."
