JORDAN: Princess Mary of Denmark Visits UNFPA Women Comprehensive Center in Zatri

Multiple media outlets reported on 21 and 22 August on the visit of Princess Mary of Denmark, UNFPA Patron, to UNFPA facilities in the Za’tri camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan. Princess Mary had a briefing from UNFPA Assistant Representative Muna Idris on the different services UNFPA Jordan is providing via two main partners: the Jordanian Health Aid Society and the Institute for Family Health. The Danish Princess toured the center and saw all the health services provided  in the clinics such antenatal care, delivery, post natal care, advice and counseling on family planning and reproductive health issues, and she thanked the doctors and midwives from JHAS for all the great work they are doing to help in providing good maternal health services.
