MOZAMBIQUE: Europe Calls for Increased Investment for Family Planning and Reproductive Health

Jornal Notícias reported on 2 September that members of the European Parliamentarians Forum (EPF) urged governments to reinforce their investment in family planning and reproductive health. The call was made by a group of six parliamentarians who visited Mozambique last week. The paper says that the parliamentarians visited Bilene, Xai Xai and Maputo and were impressed by the efforts being taken in order to tackle HIV prevalence and to  implement family planning programmes. The paper says that the visit was organized by UNFPA, EPF and AMODEFA (Mozambique’s affiliate of IPPF). Read in Portuguese: Jornal Noticias
