UGANDA: Kadaga Joins Fistula Fight

The New Vision on 14 October reported that Parliament Speaker Rebecca Kadaga promised to support the request for more funding to fight fistula. UNFPA's Esperance Fundira is quoted in the piece saying the face of fistula is a reflection of an iniquity in care, "it is represented by women who live in the rural areas making up 2%, of which 1.8% is not educated, young and poor."
