BURKINA FASO: Family Planning Experiencing Renewed Interest

Sidwaya on 26 October reported that with the financial and technical support of UNFPA, family planning is experiencing renewed interest in Burkina Faso. According to UNFPA Representative Mamadou Kante, this renewed interest is due to the interventions of The World Programme of Reproductive Health Commodity Security  in Burkina Faso and the fact that issues of populations are taken into account in development conversations. He also said that the country will reach the rate of 25% contraceptive prevalence before 2015. Read in French: Sidwaya
