UGANDA: Awareness Campaign for Vasectomies Needed

The Daily Monitor on 8 November published an op-ed by Rita Mwagale of UHMG, where she reminds the audience that vasectomy is not a castration, it is an effective FP method which is unfortunately least chosen. She asked for an awareness campaign before promoting vasectomies. She mentioned UNFPA and how we emphasize that access to family planning is a human right and must be voluntary.
