MOZAMBIQUE/PORTUGAL: Portuguese Speaking Countries Discuss Gender Equality in Lisbon

Notícias reported on 3 May, that the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) is to convene, in Lisbon, Portugal, the II Ministerial Meeting on Gender Equality – under the theme Gender, Health and Violence. The meeting aims to consolidate gender equality efforts in the CPLP member states. Participants include Mozambique’s former Prime Minister, Luisa Diogo, the National Director of Women’s Affairs, Célia Buque; and UNFPA’s Alanna Armitage.
