PARAGUAY: Antenatal Care Can Reduce Maternal Mortality

ABC reported on 26 May on the potential of antenatal care, particularly before the fourth month of pregnancy, for reducing maternal mortality. According to UNFPA, Paraguay’s maternal mortality ratio is 127.3 deaths for every 100,000 live births, which is higher than much of the region. Read in Spanish: ABC
