CAMBODIA: Regional Workshop on Maternal Health Held
National TV, Bayon, TVK, CTN, Apsara and SEATV reported on 30 September on a regional workshop on maternal health, which was held to look at progress and challenges associated with MDG5. UNFPA Representative Sarah Knibbs discussed the need for better services addressing the high maternal mortality rate in Cambodia, particularly emergency obstetric care, which, she said, should be available and reachable and service providers should receive more quality training.
