UZBEKISTAN: Meeting Reviews Ensuring Women’s Rights In Family
Biznes-Vestnik Vostoka reported on 5 October that Tashkent hosted round table meetings on 29-30 September on issues of strengthening the legal guarantees of women's rights in Uzbekistan and the legal guarantees of women's rights in family relations. The meetings were organized by the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Uzbek national centre for human rights and the non-government organization Centre for Supporting Citizens' Initiatives, and in association with UNFPA.
