OMAN: Urban Areas Experience Perceptible Change

Oman Tribune published an editorial on 20 November arguing that forty years of sustainable development has seen a perceptible change in the Sultanate’s urban areas. According to UNFPA, the 3.3 billion global urban population is expected to grow to 4.9 billion by 2030, with smaller cities and towns accounting for most of the increase. Read: Oman Tribune
