TURKMENISTAN: Country Programme Actions Plans Signed for UNICEF, UNDP and UNFPA Through 2015

Trend and The Times of Central Asia reported on 3 December that the Country Programme Actions Plans (CPAP) for 2010-2015 of three UN agencies working in Turkmenistan, namely UNICEF, UNDP and UNFPA, have been officially set in motion following a signing ceremony, which was attended by high-level government officials, representatives of the Mejlis, national ministries and departments as well as heads and staff of UN agencies in Turkmenistan. The CPAPs were signed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, UNDP Resident Representative, UNFPA Representative Lenni Montiel and UNICEF Representative Samphe Lhalungpa.
