AFGHANISTAN: Government, UNFPA and UNICEF Sign Joint Work Plans on Maternal and Child Health

Pajhwok Afghan News reported on 12 March Minister of Public Health Soraya Dalil, UNFPA representative Peter Gunther and UNICEF representative Peter Crowley signed joint work plans for the current year for reducing infant and mother mortality in Afghanistan. Some $25 million will be spent on improvement of mother and child health in the country, according to these work plans. Read in Dari: Pajhwok Daily News
