CHAD: Representative of UNFPA Received by President

National Radio and Television of Chad, reported on 14 and 15 June on the audience of more than one hour, the President of the Republic Idriss Deby granted on 14 June to UNFPA Representative Mamadou Dicko. After the audience, two media interviewed the representative of UNFPA, who made the following statement:  "In fact, it is first a courtesy visit as a Representative of UNFPA in Chad. I arrived in Chad, not long ago. So I thought it was my duty to come to salute the Head of State, to receive his advices and suggestions. It was also to thank his Excellency. You know, last week he was in New York.  On that occasion he received in audience our Executive Director, with whom he reviewed what is happening in Chad.”
