TIMOR L’ESTE: UNFPA to Provide New Equipment for Dili Medical Students

Timor Post reported on 11 February that UNFPA has provided equipment to National University medical students to assist in their practical learning. Student president, Julio Anti-Buti, said that the tools provided by the agency included blankets, cots, tables, and desks. Mr. Anti-Buti also added that in the past there has been a lack of equipment to support student learning, so he was extremely pleased and proud to receive the equipment from UNFPA and called for the government to continue to upgrade the facilities to give the students a better chance at success.
