ARGENTINA: Improving Access to HIV Prevention for LGBT People

Página 12 published on 1 July an op-ed by Diana Sacayán, a transgender activist on the creation of an LGBT-friendly health centre at the Paroissien Hospital, for the care and prevention of the VIH and other specialties. The health centre was created under a project to improve access to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of HIV and STIs for the LGBT population in five locations of the country, and was conducted by the Ministry of Health of with the financial and technical support from UNFPA Argentina, UNAIDS, WHO and UNDP.
