SIERRA LEONE: Americans for UNFPA Visit WICM

New Citizen reported on 22 July that a delegation from Americans for UNFPA and staff of the UNFPA country office in Sierra Leone visited the Women In Crisis Movement (WICM) facilities in Calaba Town and Kissy Dockyard. The aim of the visit was to get first hand information on the operations of WICM who are supported by UNFPA. Angeline Martyn, Americans for UNFPA Director of Communication and Marketing, described WICM as trustworthy and further disclosed that Juliana Konteh was one of the two winners of their Excellence Award which will be presented to the winners in October this year in New York.
